Insurance Benefits Verification Here is Easy
The process to check your insurance is simple and usually takes less than an hour. An insurance benefits check does not obligate you to treatment at Desert Rose Recovery. It simply gives us permission to verify what benefits your plan offers and then explain to you how you can use those benefit for substance abuse treatment.
All you need for insurance verification is:
- A health/medical insurance card
- Your (or the patients) full legal name, date of birth and social security number (or last 4 digits)
- A telephone (or computer) to submit the information to us.
How Do I Submit Insurance for Verification?
The easiest way for most people is to call our Admissions Department directly at (855) 866-6992
Your Admissions Coordinator can gather your information and have our staff being the process and check benefits immediately. While you wait, you can find out more about what Desert Rose Recovery has to offer and ask any questions you have about our services or accommodations. If you prefer not to call at this time, you are welcome to submit your insurance and contact information through the secure form on this page. We will contact you by the means provided once we have your insurance verification complete.
Does My Insurance Cover Addiction Treatment?
Private medical insurance in the Unites States covers addiction treatment. This wasn’t always true though. The Affordable Care Act (ACA) passed in 2010 it brought some big changes to healthcare that were instrumental in expanding access to these vital, lifesaving services. It essentially transformed access to addiction treatment services. The ACA made it a requirement for health insurance providers to offer coverage for substance use disorder (SUD) treatment.
Equally as important, it extended the 2008 Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act that mandates insurers provide addiction treatment coverage equal to their mental health services. No matter what health insurance plan you have, there is some coverage for substance use disorders (including alcohol). How much is covered and for how long will depend on your specific plan as well as your (or the patients) needs, which will be communicated to your insurance company by the treatment provider (Desert Rose Recovery in this case) who is treating and evaluating you.
What about Self-Pay or Medicare or Medicaid?
Desert Rose Recovery can and does work with most private medical insurances. We regret that we cannot accept state insurances such as state Medicaid or Medicare at this time. If you don’t have medical insurance coverage or elect not to use it, we have reasonable self-pay rates and options worth exploring. Give us a call for more details and inquire about ‘self-pay rates’.
