Jon Goodman is a seasoned healthcare executive working in the Behavioral Health field since 1990. Josh was the founder and CEO of PLUS Neuro-rehabilitation (PLUS), New Jersey’s premier Traumatic Brain Rehabilitation (TBI) facility from 2010 until 2019 PLUS was NJ’s largest TBI facility operating over 60 licensed group homes in the State.
Jon, in 2010 and relocated to Miami Beach. In 2015, he returned to Bucks County PA to help create DayBreak Treatment Solutions. Having been raised in Levittown , PA, Jon has always been involved in recovery in the Bucks County area. It was a natural location choice to begin building the
DayBreak Treatment brand. As CEO and cofounder, Josh is very passionate about the healthcare industry, attaches high importance to team building, and believes strongly in a “client first” corporate culture.

Stacy is an innovative, customer-oriented healthcare administrator with over 20 years of experience in operating and licensing Brain Injury and Substance Abuse Treatment programs in both short- and long-term care settings. She has managed inpatient and outpatient programs. Stacy possesses a strong background in operations management, quality assurance and case management.
Stacy has led organizations through 7 successful CARF accreditations, obtaining 3-year certifications each time. She has also obtained full licensing compliance in all of the programs that she has run during her career. She has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology as well as her MSW.
Stacy has dedicated her entire career to helping people with various disabilities. Stacy has 2 children and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and outdoor fitness.

Dr. Michael Frost is an internationally recognized specialist in treatment of addictive diseases and is board certified in both Addiction Medicine and Internal Medicine. He is a fellow of The American College of Physicians and a Distinguished Fellow of The American Society of Addiction Medicine as well as a member of the Canadian Society of Addiction Medicine. He has been a medical director for several addiction treatment facilities. Dr. Frost is also heavily involved in new treatment development and clinical research, and has been an investigator on several major clinical trials.
He often is asked to consult by numerous companies regarding clinical development and healthcare policy. He is widely published and his work has been presented across the United States, Canada, and Europe.

As the Clinical Supervisor of Desert Rose Recovery Center, Wendi brings with her 3 decades of experience working with adolescents and adults living with addiction and mental illness.
Beginning her career as a Case Manager, Wendi has progressively worked her way to becoming a successful administrator with a wealth of experience in a wide range of clinical techniques, program development, fiscal management, staff professional development, compliance, and organizational capacity building. Wendi received her Bachelor of Social Work from Florida Atlantic University and her Master of Social Work from Barry University and in 1997 became a Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker and in 2016 became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and The State of New Jersey, which she continues to hold licenses in all three States.

With over 25 years of experience in the field of addiction care, Diane is a skilled therapist and facilitator devoted to assessing and treating mental heath and substance use disorders. Her passion is making clients feel empowered and understood and instilling in them the tools they need for a lifetime of recovery. She is keenly focused on helping clients address issues related to family dynamics, self-esteem and building sober supports. Diane is a grateful recovered addict/alcoholic and by God’s grace has not felt it necessary to take any mood-altering substance in 21 years. She considers it a blessing being able to share her experience, strength and hope both in her personal life and career and can’t imagine doing any other type of work.

James Zagres

James worked at the Family Intervention Center, a non-profit outpatient mental health and substance abuse agency in Connecticut, from 2007 until 2021 when he relocated to Florida. He finds it rewarding supporting people who live with substance use disorders and other co-occurring mental health conditions. He has been a key member of the Desert Rose Recovery team since 2021. James guides group sessions (i.e. psychoeducational groups, process groups, experiential groups). He also practices individual therapy with clients and love working with people – supporting them in building a strong foundation for a happy and fulfilling life in sobriety and recovery. James considers it vital to make a difference in the world through his work. When he’s not helping clients at Desert Rose he likes to spend time with family and friends, enjoys dining out, cars, animals, theater, museums, art, and music.

Been with Desert Rose for five years. Todd oversees the operations at PHP and Detox. He works with billing, admissions and marketing. Todd has been in the field 18 years, and has been a recovered alcoholic for 21 years. Brother died of alcoholism; passionate about helping those in active addiction reclaim their lives. When he isn’t helping others, Todd can be seen on the golf course. Married with 4 kids

Originally from Connecticut, Kellianne first came to Desert Rose in 2016 as a client. After getting sober and graduating from our program, she decided to relocate to Florida and was hired here as a Behavioral Health Technician. Through her hard work and dedication, she was quickly promoted to the operations team in 2019. Kellianne does an extraordinary job in managing all communications between our clinical, medical and BHT team as well as making sure all day-to-day operations run smoothly here at Desert Rose.
Kellianne is passionate about connecting with the clients and sharing her own experience in addiction to give them hope for the future. When she is not at work, Kellianne enjoys playing the piano, video games, reading and snorkeling. She also looks forward to her trips back home to Connecticut where she loves spending time with her niece and nephew.

After finding strength in recovery and sobriety, Vijay worked hard to chase his goals and dreams of helping other struggling with addiction. Vijay is not only a man of ambition but has a passion for helping others. When it comes to the clients , he lets nothing stand in the way of helping someone achieve their own sobriety; wether it be staying up all night helping someone in need, or encouraging others to heal and change. As Director Of Admissions, Vijay has gone to any length to find the best team of professionals who work together in a way to make our facility a place where clients can attain their full potential and find success in recovery.

Candace has quickly become a cherished member of the medical team here at Desert Rose. After completing nursing school and becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse, she decided to fulfill her passion here at Desert Rose where she can help others live a life of sobriety. Candace provides support to staff members and makes sure clients are provided with the best possible care. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her 3 children.

Joshua Stern originally from Bensalem PA , started his personal journey in recovery in 2017. Shortly after coming to South Florida Joshua was the manager of a sober living house.
He says, “being able to see someone come in completely broken physically, mentally, and slowly watching them transform into who they want to be is the best part of my job.”
